Mexican Inspiration at a Texas Wedding

When Melissa and Alex were planning their Texas wedding, they wanted to find a way to honor the bride's Mexican heritage. "Spending a lot of time in Mexico you are surrounded by colors, culture, food, and most of all family, and I really wanted that feel to represent our wedding," Melissa explained regarding the inspiration behind the courtyard wedding complete with a nine piece mariachi band, watermelon and pineapple agua frescas, and miniature quesadillas and empanadas.

The gorgeous wedding took place at The Mansion at Judge's Hill, just off the University of Texas campus in Austin. BZ Events put on the lavish affair, and Christina Carroll Photography was there to capture every beautiful detail!
