Ok...so it may seem that technology's infiltration of our lives shouldn't extend to your relaxing beach wedding. But this application is so convenient, and offers so much valuable information for those visiting Cancun, that it seems like a valuable tool for wedding guests while they're enjoying their time in sunny Mexico!

The Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has released the new Cancun Mobile Guide. This new free app allows travelers to access information about local services and attractions in Cancun on their cellular devices. How convenient!

The new mobile travel guide is operated by Grupo Cerrando Círculos and features an expansive “Things to Do” while visiting Cancun section, which points travelers to the latest in adventure, nightlife, golf, restaurants, shopping, and spas. Additionally, the app includes a wide-ranging directory of hospitals, airlines, and consulates in Cancun and Puerto Morelos, as well as a complete list of hotels and accommodations in the area. The CVB hopes the mobile travel guide will become an important reference tool for promoting the destination, as well as a useful means for companies to publicize their services.

Cancun Underwater Wedding

Now here's a unique idea for a wedding! Alberto dal Lago, 41, and Karla Munguia, 43, decided to hold their wedding underwater to raise awareness of the plight of endangered sharks.

Wearing a white gown the bride floated next to the groom who sported a bow tie over his scuba outfit.The couple exchanged rings, signalled their vows and kissed before swimming to the surface.
