Puerta Vallarta Considered a Safe Location for Travel in Mexico

Puerto Vallarta -- considered a leading destination in Mexico for wedding and destination travel --  continues to offer a wide range of shore excursions and a safe experience for all international visitors.

Puerto Vallarta is considered one of the safest destinations for international travelers. A recent security/threat assessment study conducted by Thomas Dale & Associates (TDA), a leading global investigative and security firm, found that the number of negative events involving foreigners or non-foreigners is fractional compared to the large ex-pat resident population and the millions of visitors that come to vacation each year in Puerto Vallarta.

Real Wedding Spotlight: Emily and Antonio

Style Me Pretty recently featured a gorgeous Puerto Vallarta wedding, with creative and unique touches galore! Emily and Antonio’s wedding hand-made invitations centered around a papel picado theme, and they really wanted to incorporate subtle touches of that same design into the wedding.

The cocktail hour took place beneath a large palapa where lounging areas allowed guests to escape the intense sunshine, relax and mingle with a margarita! Customized pillows on the couches spelled out words in both English and Spanish, and hand-painted maracas featured a papel picado detail!

Candles danced along the perimeter of the palapa. Touches of bright color were incorporated into the area in the form of chiffon sheers and beautiful design pillows and were used alongside more neutral and rustic elements including tin stars, wooden tables and organic fabrics. Gorgeous Puerto Vallarta Wedding: Lety and Ryan

I had to include pictures from this vibrant Puerto Vallarta wedding that I just came across on Project Wedding. The bride's laid back yet elegant look is perfect for a beach wedding, and a gorgeous bouquet of tropical flowers added just the right touch.

I also always love to see a groom get it right for a beach wedding. The full black tux just seems too formal, while many grooms go the super casual route and opt for a button down and linen pants (I've always thought this was just a little too casual.) This groom hits the nail on the head with a well-fit khaki suit and simple lapel; the couple couldn't look better for their wedding day!

Lety and Ryan celebrated their vows with a destination wedding on a private beach in Puerto Vallarta. The pictures were captured by KLK Photography,  and Adventure Weddings handled the coordination and planning.
